How to unlock Pixel 6 on Our Telekom

Can you unlock it while I am still paying the phone off?

Yes. An outstanding instalment balance or an active contract does not stop us. You still owe the balance to your carrier — unlocking does not cancel the debt — but it no longer stops you using another network.

Do I need my Our Telekom account details?

No. We never ask for your Our Telekom account number, password or PIN, and we do not contact them on your behalf. All we need is the IMEI and an email address to send the result to.

I bought the phone second-hand and the account was never mine.

That is fine, and it is exactly the case carriers refuse. We do not need the account holder, the account number or any permission from them — only the IMEI.

I do not know which network it is locked to.

What if the phone is reported lost or stolen?

Does it stay unlocked after an update or a factory reset?

Yes. Once the code is accepted the lock is gone for good, and neither a software update nor a factory reset brings it back.

Does unlocking affect my warranty or my data?
